Huntley’s First Birthday Photo Session

It’s been almost four years since I’ve blogged! You may be wondering if this photographer is still active, and the answer is YESSS!!!! Not only active, but I am now a full-time photographer and Life Coach! I am just over here enjoying the self-employed Boss Babe Life! (LOL) The perfect way to come back to the Blog is to celebrate a cute birthday-boy turning 1 year old!

My friend Judy and her husband are celebrating the first year of their son’s life.

It was wonderful to photograph little Huntley last weekend! It was an unusually warm Fall afternoon in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

The four of us met at my the beautiful UMW Campus and took a long walk. We wanted to find just the perfect spots for their portraits.

We had so much fun playing with leaves and smelling the flowers. We enjoyed the cool breeze and walking all over the University campus.

I was sure Huntley would devour his cupcake, but I was wrong! He touched the icing and didn’t care for the texture (I assume)! Mom came to the rescue! She gave him a little icing, but that was about it. Huntley didn’t want anything to do with it anymore. I believe dad was the lucky one who got to enjoy the birthday cupcake. Maybe next year he’ll be willing to dive into a cake? We’ll have to wait and see!

He celebrated his birthday surrounded by family in an intimate party at home. He’s so loved by so many people he doesn’t even know yet.
