1. Attendees will walk away with a practical knowledge of off camera flash or OCF which is unavoidably important in our line of work. I can speak from experience that OCF can be intimidating. I mean terrifying! But once I learned OCF, the fear factor disappeared. It was no longer terrifying but quite enjoyable.
2. Attendees will learn how to pose their couples. POSING clients can be very intimidating when you draw a blank and can’t think of a pose that will compliment the couple. This workshop will teach attendees how to feel comfortable with posting their clients and how to make their client feel comfortable in front of the camera. Not everyone likes to be in front of the camera. It is our job to educate them on how to pose, relax, and just be themselves.
3. Attendees will get an opportunity to add to not just one but THREE categories of photographs on their websites: Engaged Couple, Bridal Portraits and Bride + Groom. Yes! that’s right. We will have 5 models looking gorgeous in their dresses and suits! This portion of the day will give you the opportunity to put to practice your posing skills and create gorgeous photographs.
4. Attendees will form a bond with fellow photographers and get an opportunity to network. Yes we have Facebook. But nothing beats getting to know a fellow creative in person. I am still in touch with several attendees from all the workshops I’ve attended. And what’s more, I’ve received referrals from and have referred clients to specific photographers that’s I’ve met at workshops! THAT is the power of networking In Person!
5. Lastly, and perhaps my favorite reason, attendees will renew their passion and love for photography! I am always pumped and ready to take the world by storm when I’ve attended a workshop and left with amazing images and a ton of knowledge to apply to my business. It reminds me of the WHY behind my photography business!
