My mom-in-law is the best!

Sometimes we overlook the people in our lives who are quietly supporting us behind the scenes and encouraging us at every turn. In my life, I am truly blessed to have so many wonderful individuals who are here to love and support me endlessly. Some of these individuals I’ve known since I can remember such as my mom and my family. Others I’ve gotten to know along the way such as my godmother and my best friends. While others I’ve met only a few years ago such as my husband and my mother-in-law. Recently, my mother-in-law surprised me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a big box of chocolates (How does she know the way to my heart???). I want to thank her for her endless love and support and share with you the  7 reasons why I love this woman who calls me her third daughter:

7. She always has a listening ear. I love that she always listens and never judges.

6. She is kind. She can anticipate a need before it arises. How does she do that?

5. She is creative! I probably can’t list all of her talents in one blog, but she can seriously rock any piece of fabric and ball of yarn to name a couple.

4. She is an amazing cook! HOW does she make the best dinner to entertain her family all by herself is beyond me!

3. She loves to learn. She loves to challenge herself and push the boundary. That takes serious guts!

2. She loves the Lord! How amazing that she can be sure to attend Mass, take her granddaughters to CCD classes and choir practice and be home in time to make a delicious meal! Seriously, I am jealous.

1. The number one reason I love her is because she loves me. Not like her daughter-in-law, but just like her own daughter!

My mother-in-law, just like so many other beautiful people in my life, I could never thank enough because I am nothing with them. That is for sure.

I pray that you find the love that I have found in the form of this beautiful woman!
