When you come to your engagement sessionw with me, you don’t have to worry about anything! I will be here 100% of the time guiding you through the shoot and working with your preferences to create meaningful and natural poses for your and your fiance. I’ve got you!
This blog is short, sweet and straight to the point. During my recent shoot, my sweet bride casually said she didn’t know I was going to pose her and her fiance. She said she thought they would just sort of figure it out themselves. That is when I realized that I want to share this information with you before you even think about trusting me with your wedding day! I can’t wait to share these ideas with you. Let me know what you think of these posing ideas for clients and how I can help you feel more comfortable in front of the camera.
This was their 3rd photo and they were already so good at the nose to nose pose! Anna and Drew took the directions I gave so well and added their own flare to it.
Here is a second photo of Anna and Drew that follow the same posing as the above. I just took this photo from a different angle and in a different location in the park.
2. This next pose is so cute and I love to add variations to it. I had Drew standing facing me and had him put his hands in his pockets and relax his shoulders and legs. Anna is standing perpendicular to Drew, put her arm around Drew, and pop her left leg again. In this particular one, They were looking off to the opposite sides and smiling.
3. Okay. This next one is not really a pose, but as we were walking to the next location in the park, I took advantage of them walking and snapped a few casual photos of Anna and Drew walking! These two look so amazing just walking! I am jealous!
4. This next one is probably my favorite! Drew is sitting on a couple of steps we found and had Anna sit one step down from him with Drew’s arms around Anna. Drew is looking down at Anna’s shoulder and asked Anna to give me big fierce eyes with a gentle smile.
5. I had the couple walk away from me, and I asked Anna and Drew to look at each other as they walked. In the second photo, I had the couple walk the opposite direction and I had Drew turn around and look at me.
Okay! What do you think of these posing ideas for clients?
I had the best time working with Anna and Drew and I can’t wait for their wedding day. The best part is now Anna and Drew will know exactly how I will be posing them on their wedding day. It will take them no time to get through their photos and get back to enjoying their reception!
Which ones are your favorites? I’d love to know!
