You are attending a beautiful wedding.
There are flowers everywhere. You can hear the sound of laughter coming from the reception hall as you pull into the parking spot and dash over to join the loved ones of the bride and groom in the celebration. The decorations are beautiful. There is music playing-softly and beautifully. The ceremony is about to start. Excitedly you look around for your seat. You see many vendors walking about and setting up the ceremony stage, fluffing the flowers. The videographers are in position. You see a couple of photographers walking briskly and talking to one another and the videographer and the planner. They are ready. You aren’t even thinking about reasons to hire two photographers.
The ceremony starts. You see the photographers capturing the couple from multiple directions and various angels without being intrusive. You wonderful how do they do that!
Everything else is history.
Ever wonder why a couple hires two photographers for their wedding?
Here are three important reasons:
1. Two photographers can capture the full story of the bride and groom’s Big Day from multiple directions.
You’ve probably seen photos of the bride and the groom smiling during the ceremony as the bride is walked down the aisle by her dad and the groom waits at the end to recieve her. Two photographers capture those photographs. It is vital to get the ceremony from various perspectives to capture the entire story. You can only do it with two photographers present. Want to know another reason to hire two photographers?
2. Two photographers can capture the emotions of the bride and the groom during their First Look as well as their ceremonies.
The First Look is everything! You’ve got to capture the groom’s reactions as well as the bride’s reactions. How can you not at a moment like that! Often times, the couple will choose to do a First Look with their bridal party as well as their parents. It is imperative to capture these sweet moments from various directions, and a second photographer is absolutely necessary to do just that!
3. One photographer photographs the groups, and the second photographer sets up each shot. This makes the family and friends portraits as well as the bridal portraits go without a hitch.
Okay. Let’s talk about family portraits. The Ceremony is done and everyone is excited to get the party started. At this point, the last thing they want is to be held up by the photographer to do family portraits for more than a certain amount of time. THIS is where the second photographer shines! The second sets up the shots, and the first photographer makes sure to capture the smiling faces before the lens. This double team process makes this part of the day go by so much faster so that the family and the bridal party can join their guests at coctail hour.

Monica and Patrick had this to say about Nilo:
Nilo is possibly the sweetest person ever born. I’m a very awkward poser so she did a trial session with us so we would get comfortable. She showed up on time and she got along wonderfully with all of my family and friends. Really happy with Nilo and the photos, would definitely recommend her!
Monica and Patrick, I think the world of you guys!
Thank you for choosing me and Jennifer Milato to be your wedding photographers. We had a blast!!!
